CRAN release ‘Luminescence’ v1.2.1
by RLum.Network (March 25, 2026)
We are proud to announce the release of 'Luminescence' version 1.2.1.
This minor release comes only two weeks after our previous release
to fix an urgent request by CRAN. Nonetheless, this release comes with a few
correctness and regression fixes.
Read up the post for the 1.2.1 release on the REPLAY website for more details and to discover what prompted CRAN to ask us to make a new release.
Highlights
use_DRAC()has been updated to accept DRAC version 1.3 template files.calc_OSLLxTxRatio()now computes overdispersion more correctly: this means that the Lx/Tx ratios and errors reported by the function (and by those other functions that rely on it, such asanalyse_FadingMeasurement(),analyse_SAR.CWOSL(),analyse_pIRIRSequence(),analyse_baSAR(), andplot_DetPlot()) will be different from previous releases, although we don’t expect differences to be too large in general.plot_KDE()andplot_DRTResults()have seen fixes for some graphical problems that would occur in some very specific circumstances. The latter has also received fixes for long-standing, but rarely seen, crash bugs.
To see all the other gory details on what has changed, please see the 1.2.1 release page on GitHub.
Let’s enjoy spring together with Luminescence!
