CRAN release ‘Luminescence’ v0.9.23

We are happy to announce another update of 'Luminescence', now available in version 0.9.23 on CRAN. The release was required because a package we depended on ('plotrix') was orphaned on CRAN. This might have been a temporary situation, but it might also lead to archiving the package, which usually affects the package dependency chain.

As it turned out, the package in question was used only in one occupation, generating a smooth colour ramp, and the lines were replaced with base R code lines.
